Last night’s meeting was an interesting discussion of a very complex subject. It was good to see more people could make it to this meeting.
From a good list of books, we chose The Girls of Atomic City: The Untold Story of the Women Who Helped Win World War II, by Denise Kiernan for April’s book. “The New York Times bestseller, an incredible true story of the top-secret World War II town of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and the young women brought there unknowingly to help build the atomic bomb.”
We will meet on Monday, April 13, at 6:30 PM in the Food Court at Colony Mill Market Place.
