$1100 raised at yard sale. Spaghetti dinner report is difficult.  We made roughly 11k.   Another event this fall is a possibility

For the time being we will be meeting at the Library.  We need to have a consistent location; we will try the library out for the rest of the year.

Reports from Presidential Primary Campaigns-

Abby from the Warren for the KSC Amanda will be hiring more organizers soon.

Chris Donnelan from Castro campaign.  Hiring more interns. He will be in the state soon.

John Enkler Kamala Harris New office over by Coco Plum

Conner from the Booker campaign.  Cory will  viewing party next Monday, see Facebook for the Streetfight movie.

They also have a number of community service events coming up.

Colleen from Buttegieg campaign.  They will also be hiring for more presence.  Sundaes for Pete event on the 18th.  Jamie, who is doing Sullivan County

John for the Sanders campaign    Phone banks on wed and canvassing in Keene every Saturday.

JD Brenner from the Biden campaign canvasses and phone banks    Strategy

session.  The 24thJoe will be in Keene speaking soon.

Introduction of our speaker Dr. Kemal Atkins, and his wife Julia

Five years in Keene.  We are not a colorful community. School as social mobility. Founder of think college, to help his students understand the need for further education, scholarship and the process of applying to school.  Coming to a non-diverse campus small to large institutions never really thought about diversity.  He was concerned about his family’s transition to Keene. Intentional about how they would find things to engage with in the community.  Jack and Jill Inc. makes sure African American students are given a strong sense of culture and academic careers.

Sense of belonging and sense of purpose!
